Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2428762A2] The charge body (1) has a base body (1a) containing propellant charge medium and exhibiting diameter (d) lesser opposite to inner diameter (D) of a propellant charge chamber (10). Radial protrusions (2) are arranged in partial areas on a periphery of the base body for adapting radius (r) of the base body in the partial areas to inner radius (R) of the chamber. The protrusions in the form of ribs run diagonal to a longitudinal axis and a peripheral direction of the charge body. The base body is made of material i.e. hard foam e.g. polyurethane.
