[origin: WO2010130678A1] A placing tool for the sudden placement of nails, bolts or the like has an impact body (9) having an impact mass, which engages on the head of the bolt element to be placed by way of a ram (10) and engages the same in the subsurface. In order to drive the impact body, a drive (8) is provided, which is composed of two flywheels (13) that form a passage between each other and rotate in opposite directions about two parallel rotational axes. The impact body inserted between said flywheels is slightly larger in the transverse direction than the distance of the flywheels from each other, so that they engage on the surface (18) of the impact body with large force and accelerate the same in the direction of the bolt to be placed. Upon leaving the flywheels, the ram strikes the bolt. In order to allow the impact body to return between the two flywheels, without having to remove the same from each other, the impact body is rotated about the longitudinal axis thereof into a position in which the transverse extension thereof is smaller than the distance between the two flywheels. In this way, the impact body can be retracted with little effort into the starting position thereof by way of a rubber band, in which the body is rotated back into the original angular position.
