[origin: WO2010130259A1] A pizza packaging (2, 36) for baked, ready-to-eat pizza, including a lower part (4) or bottom upon which the pizza may be supported, and a upper part (6) or a lid that may protect the top side of the pizza, where the pizza packaging (2, 36) is designed as a bag-shaped packaging of plastic where the lower and upper parts (4, 6) are constituted by a plastic film which at opposite side edges and one end edge are interconnected by welds, the bag packaging (2, 36) having an opening at a front side edge with a closure flap (16) constituted by an extended part of the lower part (4), where the bag packaging (2, 36) includes a lower support member (34, 38) consisting of a plate-shaped rigid material, e.g. of fibre-cardboard or plastic.
