Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010131211A2] The present invention relates to a mechanism for the displacement of coplanar doors of a piece of furniture. The mechanism according to the invention comprises a first and a second displacement shoe each connected to one of said doors. At least one of said shoes comprises a main carriage with a first axle and a second axle connected rigidly to a frame. Said main carriage has wheels that enable its displacement along a pair of parallel longitudinal guides. Said shoe also comprises an attachment bracket connectable to the corresponding door to move. The bracket comprises a first and a second slider that enable its connection respectively to the first axle and to the second axle of the main carriage. Said sliders enable a translation and a rotation of the bracket with respect to the main carriage. The displacement mechanism also comprises guide means operatively connected to the bracket to induce its translation and rotation during the displacement of the main carriage along the pair of longitudinal guides.
