The bag has two material strips (3a, 3b) connected with each other and arranged above each other. Two folds (2) are formed at sides of a material web (1), where the sides are opposite to each other. Another material web (5) is connected with the two material strips and an end of the former material web, and air-permeable connections (4a-4d) are formed by intermittent welding seams in the latter material web. The material strips and the latter material web are made of transparent plastic.

Beutel, insbesondere zur Aufbewahrung von Lebensmitteln, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Beutel aus einer ersten Materialbahn (1) besteht, die an einer Seite einen ersten Falz (2) aufweist und oberhalb des ersten Falzes (2) endet, daß an der dem ersten Falz (2) gegenüberliegenden Seite der ersten Materialbahn (1) ein zweiter Falz durch zwei übereinander angeordnete, miteinander verbundene Materialstreifen (3a, 3b) gebildet ist und daß mit dem oberen der beiden Materialstreifen (3b) eine zweite Materialbahn (5) verbunden ist, die mit dem Ende der ersten Materialbahn (1) oberhalb des ersten Falzes (2) verbunden ist und wobei die Verbindungen (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d) zumindest teilweise luftdurchlässig ausgebildet sind.
