[origin: WO2010133556A1] The invention relates to a key (1) including a key head (2) and an insert (3), said insert having one end inserted and fixed inside said key head (2), said insert (3) and said key head (2) each having respective flanks that engage with one another in an assembled position, characterised in that each one of said respective flanks of the insert (3) and of the key head (2) has at least one discontinuity (9), the two discontinuities (9) being inserted into one another so as to generate an increased mutual support of said flanks. Specifically, said discontinuities (9) are formed in the body and/or in the width and/or in the length of said insert (3) and/or of said key head (2) and constitute an assembly means made of at least one male element (9b) and at least one female element (9a).
