Abstract (en)

[origin: CA2762326A1] The present invention relates to an electronic gaming device, particularly a lottery game device, having a game server for controlling the game, to which at least one game machine can be connected, wherein the game server includes at least one preferably electronic game ticket block comprising a plurality of preferably electronic game tickets, each of which is individually marked with a winning number combination, wherein the at least one game machine can be connected to a credit storage device that is associated therewith and can be charged by means of an input device. The game server also includes a ticket purchase device for purchasing a game ticket while reducing the credit stored in the credit storage device. According to the invention, the at least one game machine has a gambling device which, depending on a course of the game, can be actuated from the credit storage device and then from a prize storage device in a plurality of rounds of the game on the basis of the data of one and the same game ticket. If a prize is won in the first game that can be started by and/or after purchasing a game ticket, a new round of the game can be started by using said prize or a portion thereof particularly without reducing the credit in the credit storage device on the basis of the data of the same game ticket, thereby simplifying data management without reducing the appeal of the game.
