Abstract (en)
A hair iron is provided comprising at least two arms connected via joint means to allow the arms to be moved between an open position and a closed position. At least one heating plate is mounted in or on one arm and substantially opposite to at least one heating plate mounted in or on an other arm. At least one fan is mounted in or on at least one of the arms. The at least one fan, or at least an air outlet of the at least one fan, is located at or adjacent one or more of the heating plates, or closer to one or more of the heating plates than to the joint means, so as to provide a flow of air at or across said one or more heating plates.
