Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2433676A2] The housing has a heat insulation part (4) i.e. fire protection plate or gypsum fiberboard, made of a non-inflammable material e.g. mineral wool and calcium silicate, and arranged at an outer wall surface (22) of a housing part (12) to avoid heat flow into an adjacent outer space (13) during fire in an inner space (11) of a converter. The heat insulation part is connected with the housing part by a material-engagement connection (20) and a fire-proof form-fit connection (21). The material-engagement connection is formed by an adhesive film (2), where the housing is made of a metallic material. The housing part is formed as a door- or cover part or a side part.
