[origin: EP2433879A1] The stand-up pouch has a front wall (1), a rear wall (2), a bottom fold (3) made of film, a bag top and a closure device. The front wall and the rear wall are connected with each other at a side edge (5a) and at another opposite side edge (5b). A carrying handle (6) is arranged on the side edge between the bottom fold and the bag top. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a stand-up pouch.
