[origin: EP2256316A1] The intake air temperature control unit (18) is provided with a heat exchanger (12), which is connected in a circuit (13) of an intake air-preheating system (2). Storage (19) is connected thermally with the circuit for a liquid for heat transmission. The storage is connected with the circuit thermally that a fluid line (20) is branched from the storage and opens out in the circuit. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an intake air temperature control unit.
