Abstract (en)
The cleaner (1) has a dust chamber (6) for receiving a replaceable filter bag (7) and a dust collection container (8), and a sensor system (11) for detecting a variable characterizing an air flow rate. An electronic unit (12) introduces a failure mode, and a fan motor (10) is operated with reduced power in the failure mode when the air flow rate continuously lies below a predeterminable flow rate limit value for a predetermined time period. The sensor system comprises an analog or digital pressure sensor (13) to detect low pressure in the dust chamber. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a vacuum cleaner.

Ein Staubsauger (1) weist einen Gebläsemotor (10), einen Staubraum (6) zur Aufnahme eines Hauptfilters (7; 8) und ein Sensorsystem (11) zum Erfassen einer einen Luftdurchsatz charakterisierenden Größe auf. Eine Elektronikeinheit (12) leitet einen Störungsmodus ein, in welchem der Gebläsemotor (10) mit reduzierter Leistung betrieben wird, wenn der Luftdurchsatz für eine vorgebbare erste Zeitdauer im Wesentlichen ununterbrochen unterhalb eines vorgebbaren Durchsatz-Grenzwertes liegt.
