[origin: WO2010139491A1] The invention relates to a clutch or a brake (11), comprising a switch coil (12) which can be electrically actuated, and a rotor (13) which can be moved axially against the switch coil (12), which causes a friction closing or a form closing with the switch coil (12), and which can be moved relative to the switch coil (12), in a gearbox (1), comprising a superimposed gearbox (1) having a drive element (4) driven by a crankshaft of the combustion engine, a drive element (3) driving a camshaft of the combustion engine, and a position element (6), by means of which a relative rotation between the drive element (4) and the driven element (3) can be caused by applying a braking torque. According to the invention, the rotor (13) is disposed in a torque-proof and moveable manner in a central position on or at a gearbox part (6), and the switch coil (12) is attached in a torque-proof manner and in a central position coaxially to the rotor (13) by means of a membrane spring (22) to another gearbox part (10), and is braked or coupled to the rotor (13), relative to the rotor (13).
