[origin: WO2010139599A2] The invention relates to an electrical household appliance, comprising a boiler, in which water is brought to a boil and which on one wall has a passage that can be closed by a plug and which has a device for removing lime scale that has formed inside of the boiler, wherein said device can be pulled out through the passage of the boiler wall. The device for removing lime scale is designed as at least one compact unit, which has a pore structure to which the lime scale adheres and which can be pulled out of the boiler for cleaning purposes.
