[origin: EP2439362A2] The rod has a housing with a lower part and an upper part (3). The upper part is mounted in the lower part in a moveable manner. Two pivoting levers (9, 10) are fixed with an end of the lower part and connected with a trigger mechanism over the end. The pivoting levers are fixed with another end on the upper part. A connecting element (8) is arranged between the pivoting levers. The pivoting levers are moved relative to the connecting element and connected with the connecting element in a desired position. A release handle is formed by the upper part of the housing.
