Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2439451A1] The device has two ultraviolet-pipes (1,2), which have same view field. The two ultraviolet-pipes are activated and deactivated consecutively by a controller with a distance of predetermined time within a predetermined time interval so that the ultraviolet-pipes are activated for a predetermined time span. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting the existence of a flame.
