Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2439761A2] The apparatus has a circuit module (4) for switching or dimming of loads e.g. lamps, coupled to the circuit module. The circuit module comprises a sensor for detecting a position of a transmission element (5) and an electronic circuit for switching on and off and changing supply voltage or generating control signals for loads depending on the detected position of the transmission element of a separate adapter module. The transmission element is freely moved toward the sensor. The loads are connected to the circuit module. The electronic circuit is connected with the sensor. The sensor is a sensing device, photo sensor, magnetic sensor, capacitive sensor, inductive sensor or switch.
