[origin: WO2010142587A1] The invention relates to a retail and storage package (100) of the blister card type for zinc-air button cells (104), comprising a carrier (101) and a transparent plastic film (102) fixed thereon having cup-shaped pockets for receiving the button cells, wherein each package comprises individual package areas that can be torn off separately, each of which comprises at least one of the cup-shaped pockets. The carrier is provided with an adhesive layer, to which the button cells received in the cup-shaped pockets adhere with the bottoms thereof, which are provided with air inlet openings. The invention further relates to a method for packaging zinc-air button cells, wherein a carrier is provided, an adhesive layer is applied to the carrier, the button cells to be packaged are positioned on the carrier such that they adhere to the adhesive layer with the bottoms thereof, which are provided with air inlet openings. Subsequently, the carrier with the button cells adhering thereto is covered with a transparent plastic film, which has cup-shaped pockets for receiving the button cells.
