[origin: WO2010143968A1] A buoyant stabilizing device (82; 90) for a hollow unstable foundation (1) to be maneuvered in a body of water (W) comprises at least a lower support section (84; 94a,b) for buoyantly supporting the element (1), and a plurality of columns (83a-d; 93) extending in a generally upward direction when the stabilizing devise is floating in the water. The columns comprise one or more hollow compartments for holding ballast water. Preferably, the device comprises modules, wherein each module (90a,b) comprises a shape which is complementary with a corresponding region on the element (1) and with abutment means (91) on the element, whereby the device buoyantly supports the element (1).
