[origin: WO2010142395A1] The invention relates to a caseless munition (1, 10) having a bullet (2) enclosed by a combustible casing (3, 13), wherein the bullet (2) comprises a hollow space (4, 14) at the tail thereof for receiving an additional charge (6, 16). The hollow space (4, 14) itself opens into a nozzle-like expansion (5, 15). The bullet (2) thus bites into the weapon barrel (25) in a timely manner before the combustible casing (3, 13) releases the bullet (2).
