Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010142625A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for transporting a quantity of objects, in particular postal packages, to destinations by means of a transport device (2). A target receiving unit (C3) of the transport device (2) is determined for each object (P) to be transported. The objects are transported to the transport device (2). After said transport, each object (P) is identified. A message is produced indicating which target receiving unit (C3) was determined for said object (P). The object (P) is placed in a receiving unit (E1) of the transport device (2). The actual receiving unit (E1) in which the object (P) was actually placed is determined. A produced delivery plan comprises an identifier of the respective determined actual receiving unit (E1) and a designation of the determined destination for each object. The objects are delivered to the destinations by means of the transport device (2) and the delivery plan.
