Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010142897A2] The invention in particular relates to a computer method and to a device for estimating at least one intrinsic parameter of a camera from at least one image sequence. After identifying at least one representation of an object in an image of the sequence, the position of the object in the image is estimated (200). The representation of the object is then compared (220) with a representation of a model of said object, the representation of the model being predetermined on the basis of the estimated position. In response to said comparison, said at least one intrinsic parameter of said camera is estimated (235).
