[origin: EP2441355A2] The showcase (1) has a flat cover plate (4) arranged on a liftable support pin (6). The cover plate covers a contour of the showcase and is placed on an edge seal (5) in a lowered condition and seals an interior of the showcase against an environment. A showcase body (2) is height-adjustably formed against a showcase leg (3), where a drive is provided for height adjustment of the body. A support pin drive is provided at the support pin. The cover plate and/or the edge seal are formed from transparent material. An operating panel operates the pin drive and/or the drive for height adjustment.
