The chair (2) has a base (10) supported by a frame (16). The frame is equipped with six wheels (812, 822, 121, 122, 181). A clamp is subjected to an action of a dedicated unit (101, 102) for damping pivoting movements of the clamp around a transversal axis. Anti-tilting rollers are supported with each other by an arm (201) articulated on rear of the frame around another transversal axis (Y20). The arm is subjected to action of another dedicated unit (211) of damping the pivoting movements of the arm around the latter transversal axis.

Ce fauteuil roulant comprend un châssis (6) équipé d'organes (812, 822, 121, 122, 181) de liaison au sol, une assise supportée par le châssis et mobile par rapport à celui-ci, un dossier articulé par rapport à l'assis et des moyens de déplacement de l'assise et du dossier par rapport au châssis. Le châssis est équipé de six roues (812, 822, 121, 122, 181) suspendues de façon indépendantes et réparties en : - une paire de roues (812, 822) de moteurs-roues (81, 82) disposés en position médiane chaque moteur-roue étant supporté par un étrier (91, 92) articulé par rapport au châssis autour d'un premier axe transversal et soumis à l'action de premiers moyens dédiés (101, 102) d'amortissement ; - une paire de roues de franchissement (121, 122) supportées chacune par un premier bras (131, 132) articulé sur l'avant du châssis autour d'un deuxième axe transversal (Y13) et soumis à l'action de deuxièmes moyens dédiés (161, 162) d'amortissement ; et - une paire de roulettes anti-basculement (181) supportées chacune par un deuxième bras (201) articulé sur l'arrière du châssis autour d'un troisième axe transversal (Y20) et soumis à l'action de troisièmes moyens dédiés (211) d'amortissement.
