The chair has a backrest (20) comprising three sub-assemblies (22-26) provided at height of the backrest. The position of each sub-assembly, parallel to a first axis (X), is adjustable independently to that of the other subsets of sub-assemblies, where the first axis is perpendicular to a second axis (Z) and a third axis (Y). The subset of sub-assemblies consists of shutters (221, 222, 241, 242, 261, 262) articulated, with respect to each other and independent from the other, around an axis (Z22, Z24, Z26) parallel with the second axis.

Ce fauteuil roulant comprend au moins un châssis équipé d'organes de liaison au sol, une assise (10) supportée par le châssis, un dossier (20) dont la hauteur est parallèle à un premier axe (Z) et dont la largeur est parallèle à un deuxième axe (Y). Le dossier (20) comprend trois sous-ensembles (22, 24, 26) repartis sur la hauteur du dossier, alors que la position de chaque sous-ensemble, parallèlement à un troisième axe (X), perpendiculaire aux premier et deuxième axes (Z, Y), est réglable indépendamment de celle des autres sous-ensembles. Chaque sous-ensemble (22, 24, 26) est constitué de deux volets (221, 222, 241, 242, 261, 262) articulés, l'un par rapport à l'autre et indépendamment l'un de l'autre, autour d'un axe commun (Z22, Z24, Z26) parallèle au premier axe (Z).
