[origin: EP2441425A1] The chair has a backrest (20) comprising three sub-assemblies (22-26) provided at height of the backrest. The position of each sub-assembly, parallel to a first axis (X), is adjustable independently to that of the other subsets of sub-assemblies, where the first axis is perpendicular to a second axis (Z) and a third axis (Y). The subset of sub-assemblies consists of shutters (221, 222, 241, 242, 261, 262) articulated, with respect to each other and independent from the other, around an axis (Z22, Z24, Z26) parallel with the second axis.
