[origin: WO2011089148A1] The invention relates to a drophead (10) for a ceiling formwork system, comprising at least one lowerable support (12) for a ceiling formwork element (30), wherein the support can be pivoted out of the vertical projection of the ceiling formwork element (30) about a substantially horizontal pivot axis (34), such that the ceiling formwork element (30) can be lowered past the at least one pivotable support (12), and wherein the pivot axis (34) of the support (12) is disposed above the support (12). The invention further relates to a ceiling formwork system having such a drophead (10).
