[origin: EP2444353A1] The device (10) has a carrier piece (50) with a slot-like recess extending from outer circumference of the carrier piece to the middle of the carrier piece for receiving a set of chain links. An attachment point (60) e.g. round steel bow, releasably connects the carrier piece and a locking plate (40). The attachment point is arranged at the carrier piece or at the locking plate. A karabiner (70) is inserted into the attachment point, and a handle piece (30) is connected with the locking plate.
