Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2444544A2] The method involves picking out laundry items from a laundry heap by a gripping device (20), where the laundry item hanging down from the gripping device is delivered to a conveyor. The laundry item of a rear most area is fixed and detected to the gripping device against opposite end of the conveyor. Last laundry item fixed at the rear most end is selected among multiple laundry items, where unfixed laundry item is discarded from the conveyor. An independent claim is also included for a device for separating laundry items.
