[origin: EP2444984A1] There is provided a magnetic powder production method that aims to improve the magnetic properties of a sintered magnet by evenly coating the surface of a hard magnetic powder with a metal, such as a transition metal, etc. Such a magnetic powder production method comprises a step of aerosolizing a hard magnetic powder by means of an inert gas, a step of heating and vaporizing a metal, and a step of depositing the vaporized metal on the surface of the aerosolized hard magnetic powder.
