Abstract (en)

A system (110) for recovering energy used for raising a load of a draw work is described. The system comprises an energy transfer unit (120) for supplying energy to a motor unit (140) for raising the load (150) of the draw work, wherein the energy transfer unit is connectable to the motor unit, and a storage unit (130), wherein the storage unit is connected to the energy transfer unit and wherein the storage unit is adapted for storing energy, which energy is released by the motor unit to the energy transfer unit, when the load is lowered.
