Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2445306A2] The method involves controlling one of inverter devices by a control unit and supplying alternating voltage to an induction cook top, where the cook top includes a power supply system producing rectified and filtered supply voltage (V2) from the voltage. Change of control (10) of the device is performed by a control unit when instantaneous value of the supply voltage of the device ranges between periodic minimum and 20 percent higher than the periodic minimum, where the change of control designates starting, modification of frequency or duty cycle or stop of control signals of the device. An independent claim is also included for an induction cook top comprising an inverter device.
