[origin: WO2010149699A1] The invention relates to an exchangeable head holder (3) that can be received in the rotatable spindle of a machine tool, comprising a conical tool receptacle (3.1) for at least one exchangeable insertable tool head (9), which is equipped with an axial through-hole (9.2, 9.3) for inserting a central fastening screw (5, 5.1), wherein the exchangeable head holder (3) has an axial coolant bore (1) for feeding a coolant for an interior cooling system, and in the region of the conical tool receptacle (3.1) has at least one radial coolant bore (11) starting from the axial coolant bore (1) and extending to the upper front edge (16) of the exchangeable head holder (3), which coolant bore forms an exterior cooling system, and wherein a cooling system change means for converting the exchangeable head holder (3) from interior to exterior cooling and vice versa is provided. The cooling system change means is designed such that converting the exchangeable head holder (3) to interior or exterior cooling can be implemented by replacing the central fastening screw (5) with a blocking means (5.1, 13) to be selected, with the exchangeable head holder (3) remaining tensioned in the spindle of a machine tool with the tool head (9).
