[origin: EP2272846A1] Thiazolylpiperidine derivatives (I) and their salts are new. Thiazolylpiperidine derivatives of formula (I) and their salts are new. A : phenyl or heteroaryl group; Y 1> : O or S; R 1> : H, 1-2C-(halo)alkyl or halo; n : 0-2; R 2> : e.g. 1-8C-alkyl, 1-4C-haloalkyl, 2-6C-alkenyl, 2-6C-alkynyl or adamantan-1-yl; and G : (C(R 5>) 2) por NH; p : 1 or 2; and R 5> : H or 1-2C-(halo)alkyl. Independent claims are included for: (1) an agent comprising (I), diluents and/or surface active agent; (2) the preparation of (I); (3) a protecting group substituted 4-thiazol-2-yl-piperidine compound of formula (VIa) or its salt; (4) a sulfur group substituted 4-thiazol-2-yl-piperidine compound of formula (IV) or its salt, where (IV) excludes tert-butyl-4-[4-({[4-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl]sulfanyl}methyl)-1,3-thiazol-2-yl]piperidin-1-carboxylate; (5) a 4-(4-methyl-thiazol-2-yl)-piperidine compound of formula (III) or its salt; and (6) a 2-(2-piperidin-4-yl-thiazol-4-ylmethyl)-isothiourea compound of formula (IX) or its salt.
