On the upper nozzle wall (4) of the headbox nozzle (8), a baffle (11) is arranged on the outlet side, which is slidable by way of several elements (10), and which extends across the machine width (B). Said baffle is provided with a baffle protrusion (A) and a baffle immersion depth (T), and has at least two surfaces touched by a fibrous suspension (3), an upstream stopping surface (12), and a subsequent main surface (13) during operation of the headbox (1). The headbox (1) according to the invention is characterized in that, between the stopping surface (12) of the baffle (11) and the main surface (13) of the baffle (11), at least one refraction surface (17) touched by the fibrous suspension (3) during the operation of the headbox (1) is provided on the baffle (11).
