Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010149416A1] A control device (10) is described for an electric high-voltage consumer (22), in particular a starter controller for a starter motor (22) of an internal combustion engine (9) in a motor vehicle, in a circuit (20) having an internal ohmic resistor (14) and having further ohmic resistors, in particular line resistors (29, 28, 25) in the circuit (20), wherein the control device (10) comprises a micro computer (18) with a memory (19). In order to ensure that a control device (10) is provided for standardized, defined actuation of the high-voltage consumer (22) on different vehicle platforms, the control device (10) comprises an adaptor device (17) with the micro computer (18) for adapting to the individual ohmic overall resistance of the circuit (20).
