Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011005373A1] There are disclosed methods of a wireless communication device and a wireless base station. The device is served by a serving base station and receives from a neighbor base station a downlink transmission including a broadcast signal. The device decodes the broadcast signal, and determines a bandwidth attribute associated with the neighbor base station based on the broadcast signal. The device then sends to the serving base station a report including the bandwidth attribute associated with the neighbor base station. The wireless base station receives from a first wireless terminal a signal including a bandwidth attribute associated with a neighbor base station. The base station then schedules a second wireless terminal based on the bandwidth attribute of the neighbor base station, in which the first wireless terminal may be identical to the second wireless terminal.
