The applicator (1) has a finger support (10) i.e. bristle support, fixed relative to a handle (2) and including a main finger border including fingers that are formed at the support. The fingers are arranged behind each other along a border main axis. The main axis and a longitudinal axis (3) of the handle run orthogonal to each other. Curvature of the main axis is formed as a concave curvature turned towards the handle and corresponds to curvature of an eyelash curve of a human eye. The support is formed as a single piece and includes multiple parts fixed relative to each other.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Mascaraapplikator 1 mit einem relativ zur Handhabe 2 dauerhaft festgelegten Fingerträger 10, welcher einen Haupt-Fingerbesatz aus zumindest einer Reihe längs einer gedachten Besatz-Hauptachse 4 fluchtend oder mit Versatz V hintereinander entlang der Besatz-Hauptachse 4 aufgestellten, an den Fingerträger 10 angeformten Fingern aufweist und mit einer Handhabe 2, die ihrerseits eine Längsachse 3 aufweist, wobei die mindestens eine Besatz-Hauptachse 4 und die Längsachse 3 der Handhabe 2 zumindest im Wesentlichen orthogonal zueinander verlaufen.
