[origin: EP2446772A1] The table (1) has a table board (3) swivelable around a table frame (2). A locking mechanism (24) is attached at the table frame for releasing swiveling of the table board in a releasing position. A gripping part (25) is actuated by an operating person. The gripping part stands in contact with the locking mechanism in a horizontal position of the table board for adjusting the gripping part from the locking position into the releasing position. The gripping part stands in outer contact with the locking mechanism in a vertical position.
