[origin: EP2446773A1] The table has a height adjustment device (4) exhibiting a release position in which a table top is positioned relative to a table frame at different heights. The table top is fixed at the selected height in a locking position. A release device (5) has actuators (32) spaced from each other, and exhibits a cable pull mechanism actuated by the actuators. The actuators are simultaneously actuated for adjustment of the height adjustment device from the locking position into the release position by a user person with different hands.
