Abstract (en)
The invention relates to an elastic coating (10) suitable for the rotating press element of a fibre web machine, which comprises a base layer (120) made of a polymer material suitable for being mounted on the body (130) of the press element and a surface layer (110) made of a polymer material as a wearing layer on top of the base layer, and where the surface layer (110) comprises an outer surface (100) as the outermost radial point. The radial modulus of elasticity of the surface layer (110) beneath the outer surface (100) of the coating (10) is adjusted to a level lower than the radial modulus of elasticity of the outer surface (100).
