[origin: EP2447418A2] The device has rail bar insulation (1) and rail foot insulation (2) which is provided around rail foot (5), so that rail foot insulation is provided above the surface of rail foot facing the rail head (7). The rail bar insulations provided at both rail head and surface of rail foot facing the rail head are abutted. The rail head in the direction of the rail superior portion of the rail foot serves as insulation abutment for clamping the rail bar insulation on rail foot. An independent claim is included for method for assembling stock rail thermal insulation device.
