Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2450106A1] The apparatus (1) has a flotation chamber (2) for containing aqueous slurry. A foam collecting device (5) is arranged at an upper region of the chamber to collect foam product that is formed during flotation. A feeding line is provided for continuous feeding of the chamber with the slurry and opens into the chamber at a position that lies above an agitator (3). A mixing device i.e. ejector (7), is provided for dispersion of gas in the slurry in the feeding line, and another mixing device is provided within the chamber and has a gassing device (4) attached to the agitator. An independent claim is also included for a flotation method for separation of ore minerals and gangue in aqueous slurry.
