[origin: EP2450655A2] The method involves determining change of moisture content of drying goods by a sensor. Heating power of contact and radiation plates (8, 10) of a temperature control device (6) and/or vacuum pressure are continuously adapted by a regulating and/or control device. A drying end point of the drying goods is determined by another sensor. Drying processes are ended during discharge of the drying goods from a process chamber (3) by a transport unit i.e. belt strap (4), while the chamber is evacuated and loaded for proximate drying course. Temperature of the drying goods is optically monitored. An independent claim is also included for a drying device for performing a method for operating a drying device for gentle drying of sensitive drying goods.
