[origin: WO2011004007A1] The invention relates to a centrifuge comprising a centrifugal drum that can be rotated about a rotational axis, especially a separator provided with a centrifugal drum (2) that can be rotated about a vertical rotational axis, comprising an admission (3) for a product to be centrifuged, at least two outlets (10; 12, 13) for deriving a lighter phase and a heavier phase from the centrifugal drum (2), and a drive spindle (14). Said centrifuge is characterised by a design of the rotating system, which seals the system from the surrounding environment in a preferably fully hermetic manner, and at least one flow-related diode arranged downstream from the outlets (12, 13) in the direction of flow.
