[origin: WO2011003832A1] The invention relates to a polymer or polymer network (32) comprising crystals in a stressed, dimensionally-stable state, wherein the crystals in the stressed, dimensionally-stable state can tear under the effect of an external cause upon reaching a collaboration threshold, wherein the collaboration threshold can be freely set within a definable range and the crystals present in the stressed, dimensionally-stable state dissolve upon tearing, and the polymer or polymer network (32) cools off during relaxing from the dimensionally-stable, strained state into the unstrained state, that is, below the ambient temperature, and the programming, i.e. the transition of the polymer or polymer network into the stressed, dimensionally-stable state, is possible at room temperature.
