[origin: WO2011003452A1] The invention is directed to a device (1) for making a core yarn. The device comprises a first and a second pair of driven unrolling cylinders (2.1, 2.2). The first and the second pair of unrolling cylinders are arranged in horizontal (Y) direction behind and spaced a distanced apart from each other. Each is suitable to receive a bobbin (3.1, 3.2) of core filament. Per bobbin of core filament a first and a second deflection roller are arranged to deflect a core filament unrolled from the bobbin of core filament twice before it is entered into the spinning process of a spindle thereby reducing oscillation within the core filament.
