[origin: WO2011003376A1] The invention relates to an exterior door handle, in particular for vehicles. Said exterior door handle comprises a handgrip, which, upon actuation, can be used to open the door and which has a first actuation surface. The invention further relates to a conversion element, such as a lever, having a second actuation surface. When the handgrip is actuated, the two actuation surfaces can be brought into operative connection with each other, whereby the conversion element can also be moved by the actuation of the handgrip. According to the invention, the two actuation surfaces are designed in the form of parts of cycloids or of parts of involutes.
