[origin: WO2011003210A1] The invention relates to an arrangement for providing a throttle cross-section (1) for a fluid flow. The throttle cross-section (1) can be varied depending on a pressure difference present across said throttle cross-section. The arrangement is designed in such a way that the polarity of the pressure difference, by means of which the throttle cross-section can be varied, can be changed. It is thereby possible to use the arrangement according to the invention for fluid flows that alternate in the flow direction thereof.
