Ein elektronischer Sperrmechanismus (4) für einen Schließzylinder hat ein Potentiometer (11) zur Erfassung der Bewegungsrichtung eines Kerns (2). Das Potentiometer (11) weist eine von einem Vorspannelement (10) verformbare Piezofolie (12) auf. Hierdurch kann erfasst werden, ob der Schließzylinder in Schließrichtung oder in Öffnungsrichtung angesteuert wird.
